General Description:
The DNA-DIO-416 is an 8-channel digital output board (layer) designed for driving solenoids or other inductive loads. Digital outputs on DNA-DIO-416 are controlled by FETs (field effect transistors) and grouped into 8 high-side and 8 low-side outputs. The DNA-DIO-416 features redundancy support diodes on every channel and provides overvoltage (kickback) and overcurrent protection. Output current monitor offers 0.5% accuracy and in case of overdrive the dedicated board will disable the output within 10 to 5000ms (user selectable). The maximum current threshold is user-selectable and stored in EEPROM. The board (layer) requires external 10-55V power source. Maximum expected power consumption will not exceed 3.5W
