| DynamicsLab is a Maple
package for simulation of dynamical systems, contributed by Forhad
Ahmed, a senior at Columbus Alternative High School.
It provides routines for building and simulating a
physical system one step at a time, including
- Adding point-masses to the
system with given mass, position and velocity
- Adding springs between masses with given stiffness
- Specifying the dimensions along which each mass
is free to move
- Setting gravitational forces and air resistance
- Animating and graphing the behavior
of the system over time
