Performance Improvements
Maple continues to make improvements to the efficiency of the computation engine, resulting in faster computations that use less memory. Maple 12 highlights:

Many block-copy operations on matrices can now be done much more efficiently, since no intermediate object needs to be created.
The expansion of large symbolic polynomials has been improved.
Several enhancements have been made to the zip command, resulting in speed-ups of over 100 times in some cases.
