Dynamic Equalizer (16 QAM Modulation) This diagram illustrates the use of baseband equalization to compensate for channel distortions on a 16 QAM link. A modulated signal is distorted via the use of a bandlimiting Chebyshev filter with about 3 dB of ripple across the band. The effects of the filter on the modulated signal are evident by looking at the Eye Plot and Phase Scatter Plot.
